For the past 30 years, Louise has worked with individuals, families, and groups in a multitude of programs and settings.
Louise is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts and has experience working in residential and outpatient departments of public and private addictions treatment programs and has worked as a wellness presenter for a national EAP program. Since receiving the designation of Registered Psychotherapist in 2017, Louise has been working in private practice offering therapy to adults.
Louise has obtained training in creating motivation, addiction treatment including smoking cessation, adult mental health with a focus on anxiety, domestic violence, parent/child contact problems and somatic techniques for affect regulation. Louise works with families from Connect Family Solutions, as well as clients from her own private practice. She has been working at Connect Family Solutions since 2018.
Louise is a firm believer in the power of hope and capacity for change. Her clinical approach is client-centered and solution-focused with a goal to provide clients with a highly supportive environment where they can create change to achieve growth and success. She is passionate about helping clients explore the possibilities for change, identify challenges they are facing, and develop coping skills to increase confidence and fully enjoy life.
